Our recent photoshoot with L’eto real bride Rosie and her soon-to-be husband Jake draws inspiration from a by-gone era where men’s bridal fashion was custom made and tailored to compliment the true essence of the groom’s personality.
Unfortunately, in our modern wedding landscape the bride is the one to plan most of the event, leaving the groomsman often opting for a simple black tuxedo or navy suit. Whilst there is certainly nothing wrong with a classic suiting option, we thought it was time to re-inspire grooms to take control of their wedding day attire in order to truely feel their personality and style shine through.
We were so honoured to work with the beautiful P. Johnson Tailors on this shoot, who believe as no two people are the same, no two garments should be the same either. P. Johnson Tailors worked with our groom Jake to create a stylish curation of ensembles and playful shirting in order to reflect his own individual style.
Rosie wears a selection of L’eto pieces which work perfectly in tandem with Jakes look. We adore the yin and yang feel of this shoot; both individuals owning their true essence and coming together to create something truely magical; just as a union and marriage should be.
At L’eto, we take pride in working with local creatives, brands and artisans who reflect the core values of our own brand; slow, sustainable and unique.
Rosie was accessorised by bespoke jewellery brand Kate & Kole, who create made-to-order using a combination of modern technology and traditional jewellery practises, with each piece finished carefully by hand.
We hope this photoshoot has inspired you to hold space for your own soon-to-be groom to feel excited and creative when it comes to his wedding day attire.
